I'm getting dizzy.

I had one the best nights of riding last night that I've had in years.Met up with Jeff again for a little night ride at Pontiac Lake.5:10 and off we go.Not the slow pace I was hoping for.The first third has a little more climbing and puts me into oxygen debt.I find myself chasing after getting caught behind a couple going a little slower than me.We get back together at the campground road and Jeff motions me to go ahead.Reluctantly I forge on and start to feel a little better.Waiting just a little to make sure Jeff was with me I kept pushing on.The faster the better for my 210 lb. body.Love those downhills and fast twisty sections.Stopped at the end to wait and to my surprise I only had to wait about two minutes.Over all we are a good match out on the trails.Did lap two with Ray D. and Jon B.At the end we stopped to regroup and say goodbye and Jeff asked if I wanted to do one more lap.I started off with the standard "my wife"excuse. He quickly offered to give her a call so I had to go along with the original offer and just ride. This was a great decision. The moon was big and bright and lap three was the icing on the cake.At rides end I told him no to the offer of a fourth go round.Great day on the trails.

I need to ride more.

I met up with Jeff S. today to do a little Mtb. riding. We decided on Highland. It's been years since iv'e ridden there .What a great time .Got my butt kicked by the hills and Jeff. That guy is getting real good. And 56 years young.I can't keep up.I bonked pretty bad and declined my riding partners offer to ride a couple of laps at Pontiac.Saved by Tim F.The call came in to come and celebrate his finish at the Detroit Free Press Marathon.Royal Oak Brewery to the rescue.Just what I needed to get me ready for tennis tonight.Anybody know who this is?Not yhe Guy on the right.

What now?

For all of you who have been asking about my dog ,I thought I would give you a brief update. We put her on Prednezone and she is making tremendous strides. She is now doing all that she did previous to getting sick ,just a little slower. She has a little lean to the right and walks into walls a little but is eating well.13 years old and still kicking.

Met with our new General Manager today to talk about the direction we will be going and boy am I excited.Lots of new product and programs to help us get better.I need to start eatng better.I feel like i'm as big as a barn.Heading out for a ride now in the dark hoping not to get wet.

Day one take 2

As some of you may know I left my previous life in the flower business to be a part of an industry that is my passion.Cycling.Unfortunatly I didn't listen everyone that told me that the time that I actually got to ride my bike would diminish greatly. The drive to my new place of employment took a great deal of time but was necessary.I needed the two plus years get the experience in dealing with bike shop situations.I learned plenty.I still have a long way to go.The next big step is to get me closer to home.As of October 13, I am at the Royal Oak store on Woodward.Hopefully I'll get back to the level of involvement of a couple of years ago. Thanks to all at the Walled Lake who helped me through the process.I will attempt to tell who ever cares what's going on in my life on a semi regular basis. Please comment if you care to or just let me know what you 're thinking.I'll have a contest or two so please get involved.I like pictures with my friends so if you have one please send it along.
